Once you're in the game proper, the Sim's aspiration can be changed at will. As you can see below, Christine National here is taking the The Curator aspiration, along with the Geek, Materialistic, and Outgoing traits. Please read the Aspirations and Traits pages for more details. Then, you will be allowed to choose three more traits (no more and no fewer), which will affect the Sim's bonuses and AI behavior. You can click the large ? hex to assign the Sim's aspiration, which will also apply a special trait.
